A New Page: Reading Program for Dyslexia and Struggling Readers
Arizona
About
Reading program for dyslexia and struggling readers: structured literacy, systematic phonics (Orton-Gillingham aligned), spelling and reading fluency, built on the science of reading. For homeschooling families with children ages 5 to 18, done at home in about fifteen minutes a night. A New Page was started by a Christian family raising a child with dyslexia. We know the evenings of tears at the kitchen table, and we built something that brings a parent and child together instead. Each night the parent reads a real adventure story aloud and the child reads the hero's lines. Every one of those lines uses only letter sounds the child has already been taught, so the child never has to guess and gets to succeed every night. The stories are clean, wholesome and family friendly, built around courage, kindness, perseverance and loving family. A reading specialist with 41 years teaching children to read reviewed every lesson. Families start with a free five-minute reading check that finds exactly where reading is breaking down. Then each night is fully scripted, so a parent with no reading training knows exactly what to do. There are printable storybooks for screen-free days and a weekly progress note. Arizona ESA families can pay for A New Page through ClassWallet: $299 per student for 12 months. Families paying privately pay $29 a month or $299 a year for the whole family, with 7 free nights first and no card needed. Watch the 2-minute trailer: https://anewpagereading.com/trailer
