Raquel Lopez is a dedicated piano instructor with a strong foundation in formative music education, holding a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Arizona State University. She has been teaching piano since 2010, working with both children and adults and creating individualized lesson plans that support confidence, creativity, and long‑term musical growth. Raquel teaches a wide range of musical styles, including classical, worship, contemporary, pop, improvisation, and foundational music theory, adapting each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style. In addition to her teaching work, Raquel serves as the Worship Director at Bethel Christian Church, where she leads ensembles, coordinates musicians, and directs live worship services. Her background in performance and leadership gives her a strong stage presence and the ability to guide students in recital preparation, expression, and musical confidence. Raquel is known for her patient, encouraging teaching style and her ability to build positive relationships with students and families. She creates a structured yet uplifting learning environment where students feel supported and motivated. Outside of teaching, she enjoys growing her musicianship, serving her community, and inspiring others through music.
