Guided Health Therapy

Guided Health Therapy is a family-centered virtual therapy program providing occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language therapy to children in Arizona. Our mission is to help children build confidence, independence, communication skills, and the abilities they need to succeed at home, in school, and in their communities. Our founders were raised in Christian families where attending church, volunteering, and serving others were important parts of their childhood. Now, as adults with families of their own, they continue practicing their faith and attending church together every Sunday. These experiences have given them a lasting appreciation for faith, family, forgiveness, divine love, compassion, and community. The messages found in Proverbs 3:5–6, which encourages trusting in the Lord for guidance, and Psalm 23:2, which reflects peace, care, and restoration, deeply resonate with our founders and their families. These principles inspired them to create a program that makes a positive difference in children’s lives while treating every family with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect. Guided Health Therapy welcomes and serves families of all backgrounds. During a typical week, children meet virtually with licensed occupational therapists, physical therapists, or speech-language pathologists based on their individual needs. Sessions may focus on communication, speech development, motor skills, sensory needs, daily living skills, emotional regulation, feeding, or participation in learning activities. Therapists also collaborate with parents and caregivers, provide practical strategies for home, and regularly monitor each child’s progress. What makes Guided Health Therapy distinct is our combination of professional clinical care and genuine personal connection. We understand that every child learns differently, so therapy is individualized, engaging, and designed to fit naturally into family life. By delivering services virtually, we make quality therapy more accessible, convenient, and comfortable for children and their families.

Naturally FUNctional Wellness

Hi, my name is Ashley and I own Naturally FUNctional Wellness! My journey started in New Jersey, but the call for new experiences brought me to the beautiful landscapes of Arizona. I pursued both my undergraduate and graduate studies at Seton Hall University, where my passion for helping others took root. My personal experiences with health challenges led me to discover the incredible power of holistic approaches and natural medicine. I truly believe in the healing power of nature and the environment, and I incorporate these elements into my therapy practices to create positive, lasting results. At the core of my practice is a strong commitment to interdisciplinary communication, research-based techniques, collaboration with families, and creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs. I believe that working closely together ensures the best outcomes for every child. At Naturally FUNctional Wellness, we believe every child deserves to be understood, supported, and empowered to thrive as their authentic self. What sets us apart is our neuro-affirming, family-centered approach that looks beyond surface-level challenges to understand the “why” behind a child’s experiences. Rather than focusing solely on behaviors or isolated skill deficits, we recognize that behavior is communication and consider how a child’s sensory processing, nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, motor development, environment, and relationships all influence their ability to participate in everyday life. We prioritize connection before expectations, helping children feel safe, regulated, and confident so meaningful learning can occur. Our therapy is individualized to each child’s unique strengths, interests, and goals, with interventions embedded into real-life routines and meaningful activities that promote lasting functional change. We believe parents and caregivers are the most important members of the therapy team, which is why we emphasize education, collaboration, and practical family coaching that can be carried over beyond each session. Whether services are provided in the home, community, or through telehealth, our goal is to build confidence, independence, and joyful participation in daily life, not by changing who a child is, but by supporting them in ways that honor their individuality and help them flourish.

Word Play, LLC

Word Play Pediatric Therapy partners with Arizona Christian homeschool families to help children communicate, learn, participate, and grow with confidence. We provide individualized speech-language-feeding services for children who may need additional support with communication, language development, articulation, literacy-related skills, social interaction, feeding, sensory regulation, or everyday participation. Our family-centered approach respects each family’s Christian faith, values, educational philosophy, and role as the child’s primary teacher. A typical week may include an individualized therapy session, practical activities connected to the child’s homeschool routine, and caregiver coaching that helps families carry new skills into daily life. Rather than separating therapy from education, our clinicians look for meaningful ways to support participation in lessons, reading, writing, family routines, church activities, community experiences, and peer relationships. Recommendations are tailored to each child’s abilities, goals, interests, learning style, and homeschool curriculum whenever possible. We serve families seeking a more personal and collaborative alternative to traditional school-based services, including children with developmental delays, disabilities, neurodivergent learning profiles, or specific speech, language, motor, sensory, and feeding needs. We also support families who simply want professional guidance, a comprehensive evaluation, or targeted intervention in an area where their child is struggling. What makes Word Play distinct is our combination of clinical expertise, flexibility, and genuine partnership with parents. We recognize that homeschool families know their children deeply and have intentionally chosen an educational path that reflects their priorities. Our role is not to replace that relationship, but to strengthen it by providing evidence-based care, understandable recommendations, and strategies that are realistic for home and community life. We want every family to feel heard, respected, and equipped—and every child to experience therapy as a place where they are known, encouraged, and capable of meaningful progress.
