Serving students in kindergarten through 8th grade, Thrive partners with families who desire a Christ-centered learning environment where students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Unlike traditional online schools that require every student to follow the same schedule and learning path, Thrive Online Academy believes education should be personalized around each child’s unique needs, learning style, pace, and goals. Students learn from home while receiving the level of teacher support that best fits their family’s needs. Through individualized instruction, flexible scheduling, and meaningful relationships with teachers, Thrive provides students with the structure of a school while maintaining the flexibility many homeschool families value. Thrive offers four personalized learning options: Minimum – $4,000/year Designed for motivated learners who thrive with independence. Families may pay $4,500 when paying in full or $1,500 quarterly. Advanced – $8,000/year Designed for students who need more direct instruction and personalized academic assistance. Students receive 4 hours of live teacher support each week where teachers work through challenging concepts, provide homework help, and help students stay on track. This package also includes chapel and two student clubs. Families may pay $6,000 when paying in full or $2,000 quarterly. Elite – $10,000/year Designed for students who benefit from the highest level of individualized instruction and structured support. Families may pay $7,500 when paying in full or $2,500 quarterly. At Thrive Online Academy, students experience more than academics—they become part of a supportive Christian community. We understand that one concern many online and homeschool families have is ensuring students have opportunities to connect with other children. That is why Thrive provides virtual chapel experiences and student clubs where learners can build friendships, discover shared interests, and develop meaningful connections with classmates. Through chapel, students gather together to worship, learn biblical truths, and grow in their faith. Through clubs, students participate in engaging activities such as Bible study, creative writing, book clubs, art, music, and other enrichment opportunities. These experiences help students develop collaboration skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging while learning from home. Thrive Online Academy combines Christian curriculum, personalized teacher support, flexible scheduling, and community-building opportunities to create a unique online school experience. Students benefit from the freedom of homeschool-style learning while still having access to teachers, classmates, chapel, clubs, and a structured academic environment. MindBridge Math Mastery was founded with one mission: to help every student develop the confidence, skills, and understanding needed to thrive in mathematics. While I specialize in dyscalculia and other math learning differences, I work with students across the entire learning spectrum, from those who are years behind to gifted and advanced learners seeking enrichment and greater academic challenge. I am a Certified Teacher with a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction specializing in Mathematics Education, a Trained Educational Clinician, and have over a decade of classroom teaching experience. I have completed extensive specialized training in dyscalculia intervention, multisensory mathematics instruction, executive functioning, Reading Simplified, and NILD Educational Therapy. This unique combination of training allows me to look beyond incorrect answers to identify why a student is struggling and develop individualized interventions that address the root of the problem. Every session is completely individualized to meet the student's unique learning profile. I integrate executive functioning skills, study strategies, organization, planning, working memory supports, and metacognitive techniques directly into math instruction, creating a more holistic approach to remediation. My goal is not simply to teach students how to solve today's problems, but to equip them with lifelong learning strategies that increase independence, confidence, and success both inside and outside the classroom. I work with students with dyscalculia, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, math anxiety, and other learning differences, while also providing enrichment for gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) learners who need instruction that matches their potential. Whether a student is building foundational number sense, preparing for Algebra, tackling advanced mathematics, or learning as an adult, every lesson is designed around that individual's strengths, needs, and goals. Because all services are provided virtually, I am able to serve families throughout Arizona using ESA funds, as well as students across the United States. Families appreciate the highly personalized instruction, consistent communication, and compassionate environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and experience genuine success. Verde Valley Academic Mentorship & K–12 Homeschool Tutoring
My Mission I partner with Christian homeschool families to provide top-tier academic excellence with compassionate, character-driven mentorship. By blending rigorous standards with a gentle, trauma-informed approach, I ensure every student feels safe, seen, and supported to unlock their God-given potential. What Makes This Program Distinct I bring the standards of a Columbia University Ivy League Recruit, an International Scholar Laureate, and a Phi Theta Kappa member to your routine. But achievements mean nothing without service. Grounded in a Biblical Studies certification from Sedona International School of Ministry, my approach focuses on trauma-informed care and a "Going the Extra Mile - G.E.M. Award" philosophy of putting people first. As former Associate Director for the Cottonwood/Sedona Healing Rooms ministry, a local "Teacher of the Month," and a Cottonwood G.E.M. Award recipient, my commitment to going the extra mile is proven in our community. I bring this deep patience to students with unique learning differences or trauma-informed needs. The Families I Serve & Weekly Routine I serve families across the Verde Valley (Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Cornville, Clarkdale, & Sedona).
