Meet Sandy! Worship leader, gospel song writer, and music teacher. With a passionate yet patient approach, Sandy has been helping students find their musical voice since 2007. Having earned degrees in both music and humanities, she has taught hundreds of aspiring musicians from ages 5 to senior citizen. She specializes in beginning to intermediate instruction for Piano, Guitar, Voice, Bass, Ukulele, and Drums. Sandy’s teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in empathy. Remembering her own nerves as a young music student, she intentionally creates a supportive, zero-anxiety environment. She meets students exactly where they are—guiding them through foundational course books before diving into music theory, sheet music, chord charts, and lead sheets. Also, yes prayer for students and families is another unseen benefit with Sandy. Whether your goal is to master classical masterpieces, play pop hits, learn movie themes, or prepare for formal recitals and exams, Sandy is here to help you achieve it. As a mother who raised five children, she is uniquely equipped and comfortable working with various ages, learning styles, and special needs.
