About

AcornSmarts is a secular (non-religious) practice app for Pre-K through 12th grade. It has no faith-based or religious content. Families use it as a supplement for daily practice next to the curriculum they already have. It runs in a web browser, works offline once loaded, and is in English and Spanish (High School skill names and descriptions are in English). What children practice - Math, reading, writing and word power through grade 8 - Science and social studies through grade 5 - A grades 9-12 stage: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and English I-IV Pricing - Free: math and reading for one child, Pre-K-8 - Single Student 1-Year License (Pre-K-8): $59 - High School 1-Year License (grades 9-12): $99 Every family pays the same price, with no ESA markup. Licenses bought with ESA funds do not auto-renew. Paying with an Arizona ESA AcornSmarts is an approved Arizona ESA vendor, paid through ClassWallet. Email info@acornsmarts.com with your student's first and last name, the license you want and the email you use in the app. We send one itemized invoice per student. In ClassWallet, use Pay Vendor, choose AcornSmarts, upload the invoice and request the invoice total. When the payment comes through, we email your access key, and you redeem it in the app under Upgrade, then "Have an access key?". Under Arizona's contract-year rule, a license paid from an ESA runs through June 30 of that school year. Families paying on their own can check out by card at app.acornsmarts.com. Standards and privacy Our Arizona standards alignment reports for math and English language arts are public and list every skill and every gap: https://acornsmarts.com/standards/arizona/ There are no ads and no data sales in the app. AcornSmarts is made by Black Swan Media Solutions LLC, a small company in Kansas, and serves Arizona families online.
