Instead of typing "asdf jkl;" over and over, your children build real touch-typing skills while spending time in God's Word. Every lesson is a verse. By the time they've mastered the home row and worked their way up to full speed, they've also spent hours reading, absorbing, and yes, memorizing scripture without it ever feeling like a chore. I built it to grow with your child. The lessons are organized into three grade bands so nobody feels lost or bored. The youngest learners (K–2) start with short, simple phrases and get an on-screen keyboard that highlights the next key to press, so little fingers always know where to go. The middle group (3–5) moves into full verses, building speed and accuracy at a comfortable pace. Older kids (6–8) take on longer passages and learn to handle punctuation and capitalization like confident typists. Each child works right at their level, and the program moves forward as they do. Our remote learning classes are for K-6th grade. We use SeeSaw rather than google classroom or another system that is not made for elementary students. Seesaw is intuitive for the younger students and can be used on an iPad. Learning is asynchronous, so the schedule is yours. My journey began when I was a 12-year old homeschooled girl, shy and stepping far out of my comfort zone to join a small church orchestra for a couple of rehearsals and a concert. I brought my recorder (spottily learned from a Teach Yourself Recorder book) and discovered that I knew far less than I had thought. A kind, skilled flutist sitting beside me took me under her wing and mentored me through the whole experience. I loved every bit of it! The orchestra swelled all around me like a stereo, and though I didn't have the confidence to play more than a few notes in one piece on the whole program, I knew that I wanted to learn to play the flute like the wonderful flutist who had guided me during that incredible weekend. I began taking lessons and becoming increasingly attached to the instrument, and before I knew it, I was auditioning for the music program at a prestigious university. I went all the way through college, receiving my Bachelor's, Master's, and finally Doctorate degrees, all in flute performance! My homeschool education prepared me in the very best way for my college studies and provided me with a strong work ethic, determination, and creativity. We serve homeschool families whose teens are ready for college-level work, and we're an especially good fit for students headed toward nursing and other health careers, since our catalog is built around the general education and lab science courses (anatomy and physiology, microbiology, chemistry, and more) that college programs require. Many families use us for dual-credit-style learning in the junior and senior years, so students enter college with prerequisites already complete. Pricing is flat and transparent: $675 per 3-credit course and $695 for 4-credit lab sciences, with no hidden fees. For Arizona ESA families: we are set up in ClassWallet to accept ESA payments. That is a payment arrangement only, not a vetting or endorsement by ADE, and allowability determinations always rest with the program. We provide detailed syllabi, course descriptions, and invoices for every course so your documentation is always in order. Families on the affidavit homeschool pathway are equally welcome and pay the same flat rates directly. At Excel At Math, we believe every student can grow in confidence and succeed in mathematics with the right instruction, encouragement, and support. We provide personalized, live virtual math tutoring for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, including Algebra I and II, Geometry, Precalculus, AP-level courses, and SAT and ACT math preparation.
