About

Most music instruction focuses on performance and theory - We believe that kids fall in love with music when they learn how to compose it. This is not a basic piano or theory course and is best used as a companion to instrument lessons. Give your kids a reason to love music and be creative long after they graduate from practicing and weekly lessons. It combines ear training, theory and daily practice in counterpoint and melodic invention. We offer three different tracks for ages 6-9, 10-13 and 14+. As a parent you don't have to know music and you see what they create show up in your inbox every day they work. It is a full curriculum with up to 4 years of study at their own pace. ESA eligible and high school fine arts credit documentation ready for your submission. A full year of music composition study for the price of a few private lessons. The pedagogy is based on original design.
