Trinity Arch Preparatory School for BoysFeatured
Owner verified

A Christian hybrid small school where boys grow in wisdom, character, and purpose. We partner with Christian homeschooling families to provide an exceptional education for boys ages 10–18. Through small tutorial groups, outstanding male mentors, rigorous academics including dual enrollment opportunities for high school students, daily physical training, and more than 15 expeditions each year, boys develop the confidence, discipline, and leadership needed to flourish. School at Trinity Arch looks different from a traditional classroom. Boys spend their days in small tutorial groups with expert tutors who know them personally, engage in rigorous academics, participate in Socratic discussions, pursue independent "Deep Think" projects, play chess, train physically each day, and explore Arizona through expeditions. Our goal is to cultivate young men who love learning, embrace responsibility, and are prepared to lead lives of faith, service, and purpose. Every family is different. We offer flexible scheduling options and work alongside parents to design a program that complements their homeschooling journey. Many families qualify for significant scholarship assistance, making a Trinity Arch education more affordable than they might expect. We intentionally limit enrollment so every boy is truly known, challenged, and encouraged. If you're looking for a Christ-centered community where your son can flourish academically, physically, socially, and spiritually, we'd love to meet your family.

How to choose a Christian high school in Phoenix

  1. Start with the college plan. Ask for the four-year course plan, honors/AP offerings and dual-enrollment partners. North Valley and Trinity Arch both list dual enrollment; see our dual enrollment in Arizona guide.
  2. Check accreditation. It can matter for transfers, NCAA eligibility and some scholarships. Our accredited Christian schools guide explains what to ask.
  3. Compare the faith environment. Ask about chapel, Bible classes, staff statements of faith and whether families must sign one.
  4. Look at the full cost. Ask for tuition plus registration, books, uniforms, athletics and technology fees. See Arizona Christian school tuition.
  5. Visit on a normal school day. Sit in on a class and ask current high school parents what they wish they'd known.

Using an Arizona ESA for Christian high school

Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account can pay private school tuition, including at Christian schools, as long as the school works with the ESA program. Funding usually won't cover all of a Phoenix high school's tuition, so ask each school how ESA payments are handled and what the remaining balance would be. Many families combine ESA with a tax-credit scholarship (STO) — but not for the same expense. Start with the Arizona ESA guide and the official ADE ESA page.

Part-time and hybrid options

If a five-day campus isn't the right fit, Phoenix also has hybrid and homeschool-based high school paths: Trinity Arch's hybrid model for boys, Northwest Christian's Homeschool Flex classes, and co-ops covered in our Phoenix Christian schools guide. Fully online accredited options are compared in best online Christian high schools.
