Gradus School of Music Composition
Most music instruction focuses on performance and theory - We believe that kids fall in love with music when they learn how to compose it. This is not a basic piano or theory course and is best used as a companion to instrument lessons. Give your kids a reason to love music and be creative long after they graduate from practicing and weekly lessons. It combines ear training, theory and daily practice in counterpoint and melodic invention. We offer three different tracks for ages 6-9, 10-13 and 14+. As a parent you don't have to know music and you see what they create show up in your inbox every day they work. It is a full curriculum with up to 4 years of study at their own pace. ESA eligible and high school fine arts credit documentation ready for your submission. A full year of music composition study for the price of a few private lessons. The pedagogy is based on original design.

With extensive experience as a K–12 music educator, I offer individualized instruction that helps students develop musical skills, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Instruction is available in private piano, private voice, music theory, and music appreciation for students of a variety of ages and experience levels. Lessons are available for beginners through advanced students and are tailored to each student's individual goals, learning style, and pace, creating an encouraging environment where students can grow in both skill and confidence. As a Christian educator with more than 20 years experience, I enjoy serving Christian homeschool families by providing engaging, well-structured music instruction that complements a Christ-centered education. My goal is to encourage each student to develop the gifts and talents God has given them while fostering a love of music, excellence, creativity, and lifelong learning. Whether a student is learning music for personal enrichment, worship, or to build a strong musical foundation, lessons are designed to be enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding in a supportive Christian environment. Students who are interested in church music or worship leadership are also welcome. In-person lessons are available in Casa Grande, Maricopa, and the surrounding communities. Online instruction is also available for families throughout Arizona. I would be honored to partner with your family in helping your child develop musical skills, grow in confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love of music.

Hi! I'm an experienced and qualified music teacher who teaches piano and voice lessons from my home studio in Dewey, AZ. I'm a singer active in my community, singing in multiple groups, including Prescott Chorale, Una Voce Women's Choir, Camerata Singers, Prescott Pops Symphony Chorus and more. I often solo for these groups and am also a director with the Yavapai Youth Choirs, an organization for kids ages 5-18 in the Prescott Quad City area.
