Gracie Bullyproof at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix

Bullyproof® is our children's Gracie Jiu-Jitsu program at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix, serving ages 5 to 13 at two locations in Phoenix. Character formation comes first. Physical skill follows from it. Character instruction is a documented curriculum, not an occasional talk. The Gracie Character Development Program runs six chapters across twelve months: Responsibility, Health, Respect, Citizenship, Manners, and Caring. A portion of every class is devoted to the current trait, focused on specific things a child can practice at home. Conduct is tracked through a point system, and children who earn enough points qualify for Gracie Game Day. Attendance is earned, not given. Our role is to reinforce what you are already teaching under your authority, not to substitute for it. We teach children to avoid a fight at all costs. Verbal de-escalation comes first, and we teach no striking of any kind. No punching, no kicking. If a child is physically attacked, they learn leverage-based control that keeps both children safe until an adult intervenes, and they learn precisely when a physical response is and is not warranted. Classes are age-grouped and taught by certified instructors following a sequenced, level-based curriculum with defined skill benchmarks and formal evaluations. Little Champs, ages 5 to 7, build coordination, listening, and confidence through structured play. Junior Grapplers, ages 8 to 13, develop technique, responsibility, communication, and leadership. Uniforms are required. Parents are welcome to observe every class. We are a registered ClassWallet vendor. ESA families can pay tuition directly through ClassWallet by searching for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix. We also provide itemized invoices with student name, dates of service, program, and instructional detail for your records. Come in and join us for a free 10-day trial! FAQ - Does the curriculum contain a religious or spiritual content? Our curriculum contains no religious or spiritual content. There is no meditation, no chanting, and no Eastern spiritual instruction. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is taught here as a physical, mental, emotional, and character discipline.

MindBridge Math Mastery

MindBridge Math Mastery was founded with one mission: to help every student develop the confidence, skills, and understanding needed to thrive in mathematics. While I specialize in dyscalculia and other math learning differences, I work with students across the entire learning spectrum, from those who are years behind to gifted and advanced learners seeking enrichment and greater academic challenge. I am a Certified Teacher with a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction specializing in Mathematics Education, a Trained Educational Clinician, and have over a decade of classroom teaching experience. I have completed extensive specialized training in dyscalculia intervention, multisensory mathematics instruction, executive functioning, Reading Simplified, and NILD Educational Therapy. This unique combination of training allows me to look beyond incorrect answers to identify why a student is struggling and develop individualized interventions that address the root of the problem. Every session is completely individualized to meet the student's unique learning profile. I integrate executive functioning skills, study strategies, organization, planning, working memory supports, and metacognitive techniques directly into math instruction, creating a more holistic approach to remediation. My goal is not simply to teach students how to solve today's problems, but to equip them with lifelong learning strategies that increase independence, confidence, and success both inside and outside the classroom. I work with students with dyscalculia, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, math anxiety, and other learning differences, while also providing enrichment for gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) learners who need instruction that matches their potential. Whether a student is building foundational number sense, preparing for Algebra, tackling advanced mathematics, or learning as an adult, every lesson is designed around that individual's strengths, needs, and goals. Because all services are provided virtually, I am able to serve families throughout Arizona using ESA funds, as well as students across the United States. Families appreciate the highly personalized instruction, consistent communication, and compassionate environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and experience genuine success. As a Christian-owned business, I strive to serve every family with integrity, compassion, patience, and excellence. I believe every child is uniquely created with the ability to learn, and I consider it a privilege to help students discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and realize their full potential.

Enrichment Program

Sweetest Melodies Academy

Sweetest Melodies Academy is an online voice and performance coaching academy helping children and teens develop healthy vocal technique, musical confidence, creativity, and expressive performance skills in an encouraging, personalized environment. We offer both private voice coaching and interactive group vocal programs for homeschool families throughout Arizona and beyond. Our mission is to help students recognize that their voice is a gift worth developing and learn to steward that gift with discipline, excellence, confidence, and joy. Students are not expected to arrive already sounding polished or experienced. We meet them where they are and help them grow through thoughtful instruction, practical exercises, encouragement, and consistent practice. Our group voice programs are designed especially for young singers who benefit from learning alongside their peers. Students participate in age-based cohorts, including groups for ages 7–12 and ages 13–17, with up to 10 students per group. During the program, students build vocal foundations while also developing confidence singing in front of others, listening and musicianship skills, performance ability, and healthy creative discipline. Group lessons create a welcoming environment where students can learn together, encourage one another, and discover that growth does not require comparison or perfection. A typical group session may include a guided vocal warm-up, breathing and breath-support exercises, pitch and ear training, tone and vocal control, range development, rhythm, diction, group exercises, confidence-building activities, and guided song work. Students may also have opportunities to sing individually and receive personalized coaching within the group setting. Programs are structured so students have practical exercises and goals they can continue working on throughout the week. For families who desire more individualized attention, private online voice lessons are also available. Private coaching is customized according to the student’s age, current ability, goals, learning style, and musical interests. Lessons may include healthy vocal technique, pitch and ear training, breath support, tone and range development, song interpretation, performance preparation, stage presence, worship vocals, songwriting, artistry development, audition preparation, and preparation for recording or live performances. Sweetest Melodies Academy was founded by recording artist and vocal coach Rebecca Pearl, who brings more than eight years of vocal training, collegiate music education, and professional recording and performance experience. Rebecca has worked across a wide variety of musical styles, including pop, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, choir, theater, contemporary Christian music, and worship. Her teaching approach combines strong foundational technique with encouragement and individualized attention, helping students develop their own voices rather than feeling pressured to imitate someone else. As a faith-based academy, Sweetest Melodies Academy values excellence, integrity, stewardship, creativity, confidence, and purpose. Our Christian foundation shapes the care and values with which students are taught, while families from a variety of backgrounds are welcome. We desire for students to leave our programs not only singing more skillfully, but also becoming more confident, disciplined, expressive, and courageous as young creatives. Current offerings include online group voice programs, private voice coaching, introductory sessions for new students, and continued coaching opportunities for students who want to keep developing their voices.

Educational Therapy
Glendale, AZ

Word Play, LLC

Word Play Pediatric Therapy partners with Arizona Christian homeschool families to help children communicate, learn, participate, and grow with confidence. We provide individualized speech-language-feeding services for children who may need additional support with communication, language development, articulation, literacy-related skills, social interaction, feeding, sensory regulation, or everyday participation. Our family-centered approach respects each family’s Christian faith, values, educational philosophy, and role as the child’s primary teacher. A typical week may include an individualized therapy session, practical activities connected to the child’s homeschool routine, and caregiver coaching that helps families carry new skills into daily life. Rather than separating therapy from education, our clinicians look for meaningful ways to support participation in lessons, reading, writing, family routines, church activities, community experiences, and peer relationships. Recommendations are tailored to each child’s abilities, goals, interests, learning style, and homeschool curriculum whenever possible. We serve families seeking a more personal and collaborative alternative to traditional school-based services, including children with developmental delays, disabilities, neurodivergent learning profiles, or specific speech, language, motor, sensory, and feeding needs. We also support families who simply want professional guidance, a comprehensive evaluation, or targeted intervention in an area where their child is struggling. What makes Word Play distinct is our combination of clinical expertise, flexibility, and genuine partnership with parents. We recognize that homeschool families know their children deeply and have intentionally chosen an educational path that reflects their priorities. Our role is not to replace that relationship, but to strengthen it by providing evidence-based care, understandable recommendations, and strategies that are realistic for home and community life. We want every family to feel heard, respected, and equipped—and every child to experience therapy as a place where they are known, encouraged, and capable of meaningful progress.
