Homeschool Tutors in Litchfield Park, AZ (2026 Guide)
Homeschool tutors serving Litchfield Park, AZ for reading, math, writing, and music lessons. Southwest Valley rates and how Arizona ESA pays for tutoring.
4 min read · Updated
Litchfield Park is small, central to the Southwest Valley, and well-served by tutors who work across Goodyear, Avondale, Surprise, and Peoria. Families here rarely have trouble finding help — the tutors just aren't headquartered in Litchfield Park itself.
Arizona's ESA covers tutoring, so most families pay nothing out of pocket.
Who Serves Litchfield Park
Around eight tutors and instructors list Litchfield Park in their service area: reading and literacy specialists, general academic tutors, academic coaches, and several music teachers. They travel in from Goodyear, Surprise, Peoria, and Buckeye, and most also teach online.
Because Litchfield Park sits inside the Litchfield Elementary and Agua Fria district footprint but is only minutes from Goodyear and Avondale, your practical tutor pool is really "Southwest Valley," not one city.
Most-Requested Subjects
- Reading and phonics, including Orton-Gillingham and structured literacy — see reading tutors in Arizona.
- Elementary and middle school math — see math tutors in Arizona.
- Writing and composition — see writing tutors in Arizona.
- Piano, voice, and general music — several teachers cover Litchfield Park and Verrado on the same route.
- Academic coaching and executive function for middle and high schoolers.
What Tutors Charge
- Elementary: $35–$60/hour
- Middle school: $45–$75/hour
- High school math and sciences: $50–$90/hour
- Structured literacy / dyslexia: $60–$110/hour
- Piano or voice, 30 minutes: $25–$45
Southwest Valley rates sit just below Scottsdale and North Phoenix. Small groups of 2–4 students cut the per-family cost 30–50% and are easy to assemble here because the homeschool community is tight and geographically compact.

I had the privilege to have had opportunities to play in many different settings, professionally and voluntarily with most of my time spent in worship settings at the church my family and I attend.I was the instrumental music director at a private Christian school for 6 years and ran 2 different music schools catering to home school families. I teach Private Music lessons focusing on all brass instruments(trumpet, trombone, tuba, etc.), auxiliary percussion, and young elementary recorder. I teach beginning and intermediate levels on most brass and percussion, and up to advanced level on Trumpet. I will teach private and some mixed groups. I can come to your home school group meetings also to hold lessons. I look forward to serving your families and helping to train up your children in their God given talents.
