Moreana Boys Academy is a Christian microschool serving boys ages 10 to 18 in Chandler, Arizona. Our mission is to develop young men of character, competence, and conviction through personalized academics, mentorship, leadership development, and hands-on learning. We partner with families to help boys grow not only academically, but also spiritually, socially, and physically, emphasizing biblical values such as integrity, courage, wisdom, humility, service, and personal responsibility. Each student follows an individualized Personal Academic Plan (PAP), allowing families to choose the curriculum that best fits their son's needs and goals. Students receive individualized coaching and accountability in a low-ratio environment that serves a wide range of learners, including homeschool families, advanced students, and those with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, or autism. A typical week includes focused morning academics, afternoon enrichment in topics like STEM, entrepreneurship, leadership, financial literacy, and life skills, plus private Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu twice each week. Fridays are dedicated to experiential learning through community service, hiking, museums, business tours, and other real-world excursions. Moreana Boys Academy is more than a school. It is a community where boys are known, challenged, encouraged, and equipped to become capable leaders, faithful servants, and godly young men who are prepared to make a lasting impact on their families and communities.

Veritas Homeschoolers

Veritas Homeschoolers - East Valley, Inc. is a 501c3 Christian homeschool support group which provides opportunities to meet and network with like-minded homeschool families. Our community is spread across the East Valley – from Queen Creek to Ahwatukee, and Mesa/Tempe to Chandler/Gilbert. We have more than 60 families, with kids of all ages and a full range of homeschooling experience represented. We offer monthly park days, field trips, service opportunities and more. PARK DAYS – Typically fall on the first Friday of the month at a local park. These offer homeschooling moms time to relax with friends while their kids play. Occasionally, speakers or a special holiday event or activity are included. Visitors are welcome to attend one Park Day to determine whether or not they wish to join. If you would like to visit, please use contact us to request more information. PICNIC in the PARK – These are held halfway through the month, and are an easy way to take a break from the school day. Most families bring their lunch and a blanket. FIELD TRIPS and SERVICE PROJECTS – Field trips are organized by members and are offered at least once a month, but more often twice. They can be located all over the Valley and beyond. Some examples: Phoenix Herpetological Society tour, MIM, Shamrock farms, Phoenix Zoo or Botanical Garden, a firehouse, MCC Performing Arts Center, etc. While we have an ongoing service project, we offer our members additional opportunities to serve their communities throughout the year. VERI-TALK – In addition to connecting in person at events, members receive support and encouragement through our member only email discussion group, Veri-Talk. It’s a great way to get advice for homeschooling, learn about curriculums, share prayer requests, and get referrals for anything and everything – piano teachers to A/C repair. Members use Veri-talk to share information about the latest homeschool events, book sales, or to schedule impromptu meetups and playdates. Veri-talk also provides members with a network of veteran homeschoolers who have graduated their kids and know the ins and outs of the high school to college/trades/life transition, and who are willing to answer questions and share their own experiences. SERVING – Veritas is a volunteer-led organization which relies on its members to lead, organize, and coordinate activities and administrative responsibilities. While this changes what we offer from year to year, it also produces dynamic opportunities. Volunteering is a requirement of membership.

**Reading Support Program for Christian Homeschool Families** Torres Learning Co. provides personalized reading instruction designed to support families who want to help their children become confident, capable readers. Our program focuses on building strong foundational reading skills through structured literacy instruction. Students receive individualized support in areas such as phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and written response skills. Each lesson is tailored to meet the child where they are and provide targeted instruction based on their specific needs. Whether your child is learning to read, needs extra practice with foundational skills, or needs support catching up with grade-level expectations, our goal is to help them grow as independent readers while developing confidence and a love for learning. Tutor Doctor Chandler Gilbert Ahwatukee

Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee provides personalized, one-to-one tutoring for homeschool families in Gilbert, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Tempe, Phoenix, and surrounding East Valley communities. We understand that many families choose homeschooling because they want flexibility, a more personalized learning experience, and the ability to select curriculum that supports both their child’s needs and their family’s values and faith. Our role is to come alongside parents, not replace them. Our local tutors provide in-home and online support for students of all ages, learning styles, and abilities. We help with math, reading, writing, science, Spanish, executive function skills, special education support, college readiness, SAT prep, and ACT prep. Get Your Struggle Reader Back on Track! I'm a reading and spelling interventionist for ages K-12 struggling with dyslexia and other reading challenges. Sessions are one-hour, twice a week. I use the Barton System which is an Orton-Gillingham-based multisensory method. My other ministry is doing evangelism and discipleship training for children and adults which I do not charge for. My tutoring helps support me for this ministry.

The Reading & Math Clinic

The Reading & Math Clinic specializes in providing individualized reading and/or math intervention for struggling learners who are below grade level in these skills. We utilize LIPS with Seeing Stars support and Math U See curricula; both programs entail systematic, explicit, multi-sensory instruction for students who do not respond to traditional instructional methods. We have had significant success with learners of all backgrounds, including those with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, autism, ADHD, and speech and hearing deficits. To get started, schedule a free screening and consultation to determine if enrolling in our program is the right fit for you. Students typically attend 3-5x a week for 1-2 hour one-on-one lessons with our trained specialists. Lesson frequency varies based on individual need. Parents are debriefed after each lesson and provided with recommendations for home practice. Students also receive a homework folder to encourage home practice. Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons to inform their home practice. Students often improve in one or more foundational reading skill by one or more grade level in the first 40 hours of treatment. Our reading program takes about 80-120 hours to complete overall. Students complete testing every 40-50 hours to provide parents with detailed progress updates and recommendations for next steps. We collaborate closely with parents to establish a graduation date once all skills are at or above grade level.

Chaotic Canvas is a mobile blacklight art studio that brings hands-on creative experiences directly to homeschool groups, co-ops, microschools, churches, and families throughout Arizona. Our programs combine art, creativity, and STEAM concepts in a fun, engaging environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, critical thinking, confidence, and self-expression. Automotive Learning Lab

Automotive Learning Lab provides hands-on automotive education designed to give students and families practical skills, confidence, and a better understanding of the vehicles they rely on every day. Our mission is to make automotive education approachable and accessible while teaching skills that encourage responsibility, independence, problem-solving, and good stewardship. Whether a student is interested in a future automotive career or simply wants to know how to safely care for a vehicle, we believe these are valuable skills that can serve them for a lifetime. Our classes are built around hands-on learning rather than lectures. Participants work with real vehicles, automotive components, tools, and training equipment while learning topics such as engine fundamentals, vehicle electrical systems, brakes, cooling systems, oil changes, roadside safety, under-car inspections, and general vehicle maintenance. A typical week may include private one-on-one lessons, small-group instruction, homeschool programs, or workshops hosted in partnership with schools and community organizations. We serve homeschool and ESA families, teens exploring skilled trades and automotive careers, adults wanting to become more confident vehicle owners, and younger students who simply love cars and learning how things work. Private lessons can be customized around the student's age, experience, interests, and goals, allowing families to choose an educational experience that works for their individual learner. What makes Automotive Learning Lab distinct is our emphasis on real-world experience.
