Kids 4 Christ

EVERY CHILD IS BEING FORMED. Every child's identity is being shaped by what they see, practice, repeat, believe, and belong to. The question is not whether formation is happening, but what is directing it. Kids4Christ stands alongside Christian parents to reinforce an identity anchored in Christ through structured, age-appropriate physical workouts, biblical instruction, and real Christian community. THE MISSION: CHRIST AS THE IDENTITY ANCHOR Kids4Christ exists to help children understand what Scripture says about who they are—and where lasting identity is found. Through structured, dynamic drills, biblical instruction, and Christian community, K4C helps children build a Christ-centered understanding of identity while giving them repeated opportunities to practice courage, endurance, discipline, self-control, leadership, and faithful action. Veritas Homeschoolers

Veritas Homeschoolers - East Valley, Inc. is a 501c3 Christian homeschool support group which provides opportunities to meet and network with like-minded homeschool families. Our community is spread across the East Valley – from Queen Creek to Ahwatukee, and Mesa/Tempe to Chandler/Gilbert. We have more than 60 families, with kids of all ages and a full range of homeschooling experience represented. We offer monthly park days, field trips, service opportunities and more. PARK DAYS – Typically fall on the first Friday of the month at a local park. These offer homeschooling moms time to relax with friends while their kids play. Occasionally, speakers or a special holiday event or activity are included. Visitors are welcome to attend one Park Day to determine whether or not they wish to join. If you would like to visit, please use contact us to request more information. PICNIC in the PARK – These are held halfway through the month, and are an easy way to take a break from the school day. Most families bring their lunch and a blanket. FIELD TRIPS and SERVICE PROJECTS – Field trips are organized by members and are offered at least once a month, but more often twice. They can be located all over the Valley and beyond. Some examples: Phoenix Herpetological Society tour, MIM, Shamrock farms, Phoenix Zoo or Botanical Garden, a firehouse, MCC Performing Arts Center, etc. While we have an ongoing service project, we offer our members additional opportunities to serve their communities throughout the year. VERI-TALK – In addition to connecting in person at events, members receive support and encouragement through our member only email discussion group, Veri-Talk. It’s a great way to get advice for homeschooling, learn about curriculums, share prayer requests, and get referrals for anything and everything – piano teachers to A/C repair. Members use Veri-talk to share information about the latest homeschool events, book sales, or to schedule impromptu meetups and playdates. Veri-talk also provides members with a network of veteran homeschoolers who have graduated their kids and know the ins and outs of the high school to college/trades/life transition, and who are willing to answer questions and share their own experiences. SERVING – Veritas is a volunteer-led organization which relies on its members to lead, organize, and coordinate activities and administrative responsibilities. While this changes what we offer from year to year, it also produces dynamic opportunities. Volunteering is a requirement of membership.

Private Vocal Lessons - Voice lessons with Nicole at Performers Playhouse

I teach weekly private voice lessons grounded in vocal pedagogy. My approach is simple: everything it takes to sing is a muscle. So we train those muscles the way an athlete trains, building toward the strongest, most controlled, and best sound your voice can make. Learning doesn't stop when the lesson ends. Every student gets a private online portal where I upload their weekly exercises, vocal performance tracks, and audition repertoire. Students are expected to practice there four times a week between lessons, so real progress happens week over week. My training is rigorous, and it's also genuinely fun. When you combine joy with hard work, there's nothing you can't do, and that combination has carried past students to Broadway, Disney, and American Idol. Strong vocal technique pays off far beyond singing. The same skills that power a great performance help you present to executives in a conference room, preach from the pulpit, and carry confidence into everyday conversation.

Moving Mountains Reading & Dyslexia Services

We are a small, dedicated team of dyslexia specialists and speech therapists providing virtual services for both children and adults. Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, we deliver individualized instruction in reading and spelling, along with comprehensive speech therapy. We specialize in working with individuals with dyslexia and other learning differences. Our therapists are deeply passionate about helping learners of all ages build strong literacy and communication skills. Each member of our team is patient, compassionate, and highly trained, and we are honored to be trusted with your child’s care.

The Reading & Math Clinic

The Reading & Math Clinic specializes in providing individualized reading and/or math intervention for struggling learners who are below grade level in these skills. We utilize LIPS with Seeing Stars support and Math U See curricula; both programs entail systematic, explicit, multi-sensory instruction for students who do not respond to traditional instructional methods. We have had significant success with learners of all backgrounds, including those with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, autism, ADHD, and speech and hearing deficits. To get started, schedule a free screening and consultation to determine if enrolling in our program is the right fit for you. Students typically attend 3-5x a week for 1-2 hour one-on-one lessons with our trained specialists. Lesson frequency varies based on individual need. Parents are debriefed after each lesson and provided with recommendations for home practice. Students also receive a homework folder to encourage home practice. Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons to inform their home practice. Students often improve in one or more foundational reading skill by one or more grade level in the first 40 hours of treatment. Our reading program takes about 80-120 hours to complete overall. Students complete testing every 40-50 hours to provide parents with detailed progress updates and recommendations for next steps. We collaborate closely with parents to establish a graduation date once all skills are at or above grade level.

Adrian served a mission for his church in Guadalajara Mexico and has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. Adrian Gomez hopes players build confidence both on and off the mound.

Emmanuel Lutheran School

Emmanuel Lutheran School exists to reflect the light of Jesus in the community and in cooperation with families, to equip children with the power of God’s Word and academic excellence. Emmanuel’s objective is to work together with parents to help their children grow intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially. Emmanuel does this on a safe and secure campus with highly qualified and well-trained teachers and staff. Emmanuel Lutheran School offers an educational program from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Emmanuel’s Sonshine Preschool is open to all three- and four-year-old children. Sonshine Preschool offers two-, three-, and five-day options with either a half- and full-day schedule. In addition, Emmanuel offers both before and after care programs for all enrolled children. As a Lutheran school, our students begin each day with instruction in God’s Word. This includes devotions, Bible history, hymn study, and memorization of Scripture. Students also receive instruction in language arts, math, science, social studies, music, physical education, art, and technology.
