Moreana Boys Academy

Moreana Boys Academy is a Christian microschool serving boys ages 10 to 18 in Chandler, Arizona. Kids 4 Christ

Veritas Homeschoolers

Veritas Homeschoolers - East Valley, Inc. is a 501c3 Christian homeschool support group which provides opportunities to meet and network with like-minded homeschool families. Our community is spread across the East Valley – from Queen Creek to Ahwatukee, and Mesa/Tempe to Chandler/Gilbert. We have more than 60 families, with kids of all ages and a full range of homeschooling experience represented. We offer monthly park days, field trips, service opportunities and more. PARK DAYS – Typically fall on the first Friday of the month at a local park. These offer homeschooling moms time to relax with friends while their kids play. Occasionally, speakers or a special holiday event or activity are included. Visitors are welcome to attend one Park Day to determine whether or not they wish to join. If you would like to visit, please use contact us to request more information. PICNIC in the PARK – These are held halfway through the month, and are an easy way to take a break from the school day. Most families bring their lunch and a blanket. FIELD TRIPS and SERVICE PROJECTS – Field trips are organized by members and are offered at least once a month, but more often twice. They can be located all over the Valley and beyond. Some examples: Phoenix Herpetological Society tour, MIM, Shamrock farms, Phoenix Zoo or Botanical Garden, a firehouse, MCC Performing Arts Center, etc. While we have an ongoing service project, we offer our members additional opportunities to serve their communities throughout the year. VERI-TALK – In addition to connecting in person at events, members receive support and encouragement through our member only email discussion group, Veri-Talk. It’s a great way to get advice for homeschooling, learn about curriculums, share prayer requests, and get referrals for anything and everything – piano teachers to A/C repair. Members use Veri-talk to share information about the latest homeschool events, book sales, or to schedule impromptu meetups and playdates. Veri-talk also provides members with a network of veteran homeschoolers who have graduated their kids and know the ins and outs of the high school to college/trades/life transition, and who are willing to answer questions and share their own experiences. SERVING – Veritas is a volunteer-led organization which relies on its members to lead, organize, and coordinate activities and administrative responsibilities. While this changes what we offer from year to year, it also produces dynamic opportunities. Volunteering is a requirement of membership.

I have prior experience tutoring students in Math and Science, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an MBA. I teach weekly private voice lessons grounded in vocal pedagogy. My approach is simple: everything it takes to sing is a muscle. Every student gets a private online portal where I upload their weekly exercises, vocal performance tracks, and audition repertoire. Moving Mountains Reading & Dyslexia Services

We are a small, dedicated team of dyslexia specialists and speech therapists providing virtual services for both children and adults. Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, we deliver individualized instruction in reading and spelling, along with comprehensive speech therapy. We specialize in working with individuals with dyslexia and other learning differences. Our therapists are deeply passionate about helping learners of all ages build strong literacy and communication skills. Each member of our team is patient, compassionate, and highly trained, and we are honored to be trusted with your child’s care.

The Reading & Math Clinic

The Reading & Math Clinic specializes in providing individualized reading and/or math intervention for struggling learners who are below grade level in these skills. We utilize LIPS with Seeing Stars support and Math U See curricula; both programs entail systematic, explicit, multi-sensory instruction for students who do not respond to traditional instructional methods. We have had significant success with learners of all backgrounds, including those with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, autism, ADHD, and speech and hearing deficits. To get started, schedule a free screening and consultation to determine if enrolling in our program is the right fit for you. Students typically attend 3-5x a week for 1-2 hour one-on-one lessons with our trained specialists. Lesson frequency varies based on individual need. Parents are debriefed after each lesson and provided with recommendations for home practice. Students also receive a homework folder to encourage home practice. Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons to inform their home practice. Students often improve in one or more foundational reading skill by one or more grade level in the first 40 hours of treatment. Our reading program takes about 80-120 hours to complete overall. Students complete testing every 40-50 hours to provide parents with detailed progress updates and recommendations for next steps. We collaborate closely with parents to establish a graduation date once all skills are at or above grade level.

Arizona Girlchoir

Arizona Girlchoir is a nonprofit community choir for girls and women. Our mission is to cultivate confidence, community, and leadership in girls through the beauty of music. We provide weekly choral performance instruction, as well as lessons in music literacy and sight-singing. Our singers have many opportunities throughout the year to sing in concerts, festivals, and other community and private performances. Automotive Learning Lab

Automotive Learning Lab provides hands-on automotive education designed to give students and families practical skills, confidence, and a better understanding of the vehicles they rely on every day. Our mission is to make automotive education approachable and accessible while teaching skills that encourage responsibility, independence, problem-solving, and good stewardship. Whether a student is interested in a future automotive career or simply wants to know how to safely care for a vehicle, we believe these are valuable skills that can serve them for a lifetime. Our classes are built around hands-on learning rather than lectures. Participants work with real vehicles, automotive components, tools, and training equipment while learning topics such as engine fundamentals, vehicle electrical systems, brakes, cooling systems, oil changes, roadside safety, under-car inspections, and general vehicle maintenance. A typical week may include private one-on-one lessons, small-group instruction, homeschool programs, or workshops hosted in partnership with schools and community organizations. We serve homeschool and ESA families, teens exploring skilled trades and automotive careers, adults wanting to become more confident vehicle owners, and younger students who simply love cars and learning how things work. Private lessons can be customized around the student's age, experience, interests, and goals, allowing families to choose an educational experience that works for their individual learner. Crush Kickball offers recreational youth and adult kickball leagues in the East Valley. Youth players of all abilities enjoy a weekly practice and Saturday games in fun, age-based divisions that build skills, confidence, teamwork, and friendships. Adults compete in a social co-ed league on Friday nights. We gladly accept ESA and offer scholarships for those who meet certain criteria.

Kidtastics Swim Lessons

At Kidtastics, our mission is to help children become safe, confident, and capable swimmers while developing life skills that extend far beyond the pool. We believe learning to swim should be positive, encouraging, and personalized—not intimidating. Through patient instruction, age-appropriate activities, and consistent practice, our instructors help children build water-safety awareness, independence, self-discipline, resilience, and confidence. Whether a child is entering the water for the first time or preparing for a competitive swim team, we meet them at their current ability level and help them progress at a pace that supports lasting success. A typical week at Kidtastics is designed around the needs of busy families. We offer private, semi-private, and group lessons for children from infancy through age 12, with flexible scheduling throughout the week. Families can choose convenient mobile lessons in their own pool or instruction at one of our program locations throughout the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas. We also offer focused Swim Semesters, which provide lessons Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks. This consistent format allows children to practice frequently, develop trust with the same instructor, reinforce skills while they are still fresh, and build momentum without long gaps between lessons. More advanced swimmers can participate in stroke-development and swim-team-preparation programs. We serve families with a wide variety of goals and experiences. Some parents are looking for their baby or toddler’s first introduction to the water. Others have a child who is nervous, hesitant to put their face underwater, or still developing essential safety skills. We also work with confident recreational swimmers who want to strengthen their technique and children preparing to join a swim team. Our supportive instructors take time to understand what motivates each child, using games, songs, swimming props, encouragement, and carefully structured challenges to make lessons both productive and enjoyable.
