Forsaken Cowboy Tutoring

I'm a software developer with 7 years of experience. I have been an instructor in computer programming at both STEAM Studios AZ and iCode. I've taught robotics and drones, web development, game development, Scratch/Blockly, and 3D Modeling. I can help students learn how to use cloud and AI tools, if that's wanted. I also have the ability to teach enterprise level development using many different types of technologies: cloud services, containerization, container orchestration, software pipeline development, Git or subversion, microservices, databases, logs, and testing. I'm also skilled in cyber security. I worked for a short period of time as a Security Operations Center Analyst, triaging tickets and diagnosing potential threats. I've held a cyber security certification for 8 years. I would be happy to train your child in blue teaming. I individualize my learning plans to suit the needs of the student. Younger children will likely start with Scratch or Blockly, and robotics, so they can see the way programming affects the world around them. Older students will focus on more abstract topics, using what they learn to create websites and other programs. I have access to various hosting services that can help us host a website for free. The most exciting part of teaching is seeing when a struggling student catches on to a topic and excels. As a Christian, I ensure a family friendly environment for my students and can teach them at your home or in a public location in Metro Phoenix. We can discuss availability, but I'm most likely free in the mornings and all day on Saturdays.

Private Vocal Lessons - Voice lessons with Nicole at Performers Playhouse

I teach weekly private voice lessons grounded in vocal pedagogy. My approach is simple: everything it takes to sing is a muscle. So we train those muscles the way an athlete trains, building toward the strongest, most controlled, and best sound your voice can make. Learning doesn't stop when the lesson ends. Every student gets a private online portal where I upload their weekly exercises, vocal performance tracks, and audition repertoire. Students are expected to practice there four times a week between lessons, so real progress happens week over week. My training is rigorous, and it's also genuinely fun. When you combine joy with hard work, there's nothing you can't do, and that combination has carried past students to Broadway, Disney, and American Idol. Strong vocal technique pays off far beyond singing. The same skills that power a great performance help you present to executives in a conference room, preach from the pulpit, and carry confidence into everyday conversation.

iTutorExpress Virtual Academy

At iTutorExpress Virtual Academy, our mission is simple: give every child a personalized, joyful path to academic confidence — no matter their starting point. We're a bilingual (English/Spanish) virtual tutoring program serving K–5 students, founded by a mom who believes learning should feel encouraging, not overwhelming. A typical week with us includes live, one-on-one or small-group sessions in Math (using the mastery-based Singapore Math method), Language Arts, Science, and Spelling (Evan-Moor curriculum), all delivered by warm, experienced bilingual tutors who get to know each child individually. We proudly welcome Christian homeschool families and are respectful of each family's values and faith journey as we partner with them in their child's education. What makes us different is our bilingual heart — many of our families are raising bicultural kids and want an academic partner who understands that beautifully. We're ESA-approved in Arizona, so qualifying families can access our tutoring with no out-of-pocket cost. Whether your child needs extra support catching up, enrichment to move ahead, or simply a consistent, caring academic routine each week, our families love that their kids feel truly seen — not just taught. We keep classes small and personal, communicate closely with parents, and celebrate every bit of progress along the way.

To get started, schedule a free screening and consultation to determine if enrolling in our program is the right fit for you. Students typically attend 3-5x a week for 1-2 hour one-on-one lessons with our trained specialists. Lesson frequency varies based on individual need. Parents are debriefed after each lesson and provided with recommendations for home practice. Students also receive a homework folder to encourage home practice. Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons to inform their home practice. Students often improve in one or more foundational reading skill by one or more grade level in the first 40 hours of treatment. Our reading program takes about 80-120 hours to complete overall. Students complete testing every 40-50 hours to provide parents with detailed progress updates and recommendations for next steps. Miss Bethany’s Violin and Viola Studio

I feel that God has put it in my heart that my life’s mission is to teach kids music and to also glorify his name through music. In the Silly String studio, I use a Suzuki based learning method—which includes privates 1:1 and small group learning each week (K-8). I teach both violin and viola students. We have atleast two official recitals a year, and summers are optional (many teachers charge over summer, but I don’t). I allow for make ups and do not charge over holidays/school breaks. A little bit about me: I love kids, teaching, music and God! I have taught privately for 6 years. I have my masters degree in music education, with an emphasis in early string pedagogy—and I am Wee Violin certified as well as in the process of becoming officially Suzuki Certified.

Gracie Bullyproof at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix

Bullyproof® is our children's Gracie Jiu-Jitsu program at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix, serving ages 5 to 13 at two locations in Phoenix. Character formation comes first. Physical skill follows from it. Character instruction is a documented curriculum, not an occasional talk. The Gracie Character Development Program runs six chapters across twelve months: Responsibility, Health, Respect, Citizenship, Manners, and Caring. A portion of every class is devoted to the current trait, focused on specific things a child can practice at home. Conduct is tracked through a point system, and children who earn enough points qualify for Gracie Game Day. Attendance is earned, not given. Our role is to reinforce what you are already teaching under your authority, not to substitute for it. We teach children to avoid a fight at all costs. Verbal de-escalation comes first, and we teach no striking of any kind. No punching, no kicking. If a child is physically attacked, they learn leverage-based control that keeps both children safe until an adult intervenes, and they learn precisely when a physical response is and is not warranted. Classes are age-grouped and taught by certified instructors following a sequenced, level-based curriculum with defined skill benchmarks and formal evaluations. Little Champs, ages 5 to 7, build coordination, listening, and confidence through structured play. Junior Grapplers, ages 8 to 13, develop technique, responsibility, communication, and leadership. Uniforms are required. Parents are welcome to observe every class. We are a registered ClassWallet vendor. ESA families can pay tuition directly through ClassWallet by searching for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix. We also provide itemized invoices with student name, dates of service, program, and instructional detail for your records. Come in and join us for a free 10-day trial! FAQ - Does the curriculum contain a religious or spiritual content? Our curriculum contains no religious or spiritual content. There is no meditation, no chanting, and no Eastern spiritual instruction. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is taught here as a physical, mental, emotional, and character discipline.

Kidtastics Swim Lessons

At Kidtastics, our mission is to help children become safe, confident, and capable swimmers while developing life skills that extend far beyond the pool. We believe learning to swim should be positive, encouraging, and personalized—not intimidating. Through patient instruction, age-appropriate activities, and consistent practice, our instructors help children build water-safety awareness, independence, self-discipline, resilience, and confidence. Whether a child is entering the water for the first time or preparing for a competitive swim team, we meet them at their current ability level and help them progress at a pace that supports lasting success. A typical week at Kidtastics is designed around the needs of busy families. We offer private, semi-private, and group lessons for children from infancy through age 12, with flexible scheduling throughout the week. Families can choose convenient mobile lessons in their own pool or instruction at one of our program locations throughout the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas. We also offer focused Swim Semesters, which provide lessons Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks. This consistent format allows children to practice frequently, develop trust with the same instructor, reinforce skills while they are still fresh, and build momentum without long gaps between lessons. More advanced swimmers can participate in stroke-development and swim-team-preparation programs. We serve families with a wide variety of goals and experiences. Some parents are looking for their baby or toddler’s first introduction to the water. Others have a child who is nervous, hesitant to put their face underwater, or still developing essential safety skills. We also work with confident recreational swimmers who want to strengthen their technique and children preparing to join a swim team. Our supportive instructors take time to understand what motivates each child, using games, songs, swimming props, encouragement, and carefully structured challenges to make lessons both productive and enjoyable. What makes Kidtastics distinct is our combination of convenience, personalized teaching, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to water safety. Instead of asking every child to fit into the same lesson plan, we tailor instruction to the child’s age, personality, comfort level, and goals. Our team brings expert instruction directly to families while maintaining a nurturing, child-centered environment. In addition to swim lessons, Kidtastics offers professional lifeguard services and engaging swim-party experiences, helping families enjoy the water with greater confidence and peace of mind. After more than 16 years in business and over 15,000 safer swimmers, Kidtastics continues to make aquatic learning accessible, memorable, and meaningful for Arizona families.

Students aren't simply learning moves or working toward their next belt, they're developing skills, habits, and character that can impact every area of their lives. A typical week at Premier is active, challenging, structured, and FUN. Students learn striking, grappling, self-defense, fitness, coordination, and situational awareness while developing discipline, focus, confidence, respect, good manners, perseverance, self-control, and an indomitable spirit. As a Christian-owned and operated program, we believe in developing the whole person. We want students to become stronger physically, sharper mentally, more confident emotionally, and grounded spiritually. We reinforce Christian values such as integrity, respect, service, personal responsibility, perseverance, and treating others with dignity. The lessons learned on the mat should carry into a student's faith, family, friendships, education, and everyday life. Every student comes to us with different strengths and needs.
