Connecting Families MHS, PLLC

The Studio is a creative, community-centered space where families can create, connect, and belong. Our mission is to reduce loneliness, strengthen relationships, and support emotional well-being through creativity, meaningful connection, and shared experiences. We believe that art and creativity are not simply extracurricular activities—they are powerful tools for self-expression, confidence, emotional regulation, brain health, and connection with others. Our goal is to create a place where people of all ages can discover their strengths, develop new skills, build friendships, and feel genuinely known and welcomed. A typical week at The Studio brings together children, teens, young adults, parents, and adults through a variety of creative and enrichment experiences. Classes may include drawing, painting, expressive and mixed-media art, sewing, crochet, computer graphics, LEGO workshops, emotional intelligence, and specialized programs designed to support neurodivergent individuals. We also offer opportunities for families and community members to participate in workshops, gatherings, social events, and other experiences that encourage connection beyond the classroom. Our programming continues to grow based on the needs and interests of the families we serve, with an emphasis on creating experiences that are both enjoyable and meaningful. We serve families who are looking for more than a traditional activity or class. Some are looking for a creative outlet; others are seeking opportunities for their children to build confidence, practice social and emotional skills, or find a community where they feel accepted. We welcome families with diverse interests, abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds, including neurodivergent children and adults. Because The Studio is connected to Connecting Families Mental Health Services, we are uniquely positioned to bring together creativity, mental health, family support, and community in a way that is rarely found in one place. What makes The Studio distinct is our belief that the experience matters just as much as the finished product. We are intentionally building a community ecosystem where art, education, mental health, and relationships can work together. A child might come to learn to paint and leave with a new coping skill. A teenager might discover a creative talent while finding a place where they feel understood. A parent might find not only an activity for their family, but also a community of people who understand their journey. We want every person who walks through our doors to experience the same three things: create. connect. belong.
