Centerline Jiu-Jitsu

Chandler · +3 more cities3 and up

At Centerline Jiu-Jitsu, we believe martial arts should build far more than physical skills. Our mission is to help children, teens, and adults develop confidence, character, resilience, and the ability to protect themselves and those they love—all within a welcoming, family-oriented environment. As a locally owned, family-operated academy serving the Chandler and Mesa communities, we are committed to creating a culture where people encourage one another rather than compete for status. Every student, regardless of age or experience, is treated with dignity and respect. Our instructors strive to lead by example, emphasizing humility, integrity, self-control, perseverance, and servant leadership—values that resonate with many Christian families while warmly welcoming students from all backgrounds. Unlike many martial arts schools, our classes feature live, interactive training from the very beginning. Students learn through carefully designed games, drills, and partner exercises that build real skill in a safe and supportive setting. Whether your goal is practical self-defense, improved fitness, competition, or personal growth, our curriculum helps students develop confidence that comes from experience rather than false bravado. We offer programs for children as young as three years old, youth classes, teen and adult classes, and a dedicated Women's Only program. Our children's classes focus not only on effective jiu-jitsu but also on respect, discipline, teamwork, emotional control, and learning how to respond wisely to conflict. We believe the strongest person is often the one who knows when not to fight. At Centerline Jiu-Jitsu, success isn't measured solely by belts or medals. It's measured by the shy child who finds confidence, the teenager who learns resilience, the parent who discovers renewed health, or the individual who gains the courage to face life's challenges with calmness and integrity. We recognize that many families are searching for an activity that reinforces the values they teach at home. Our goal is to provide an environment where honesty, kindness, accountability, and genuine care for others are part of everyday training. We seek to build a community where friendships grow, families feel welcomed, and students encourage one another to become better people both on and off the mats. Whether you have never stepped onto a mat before or have years of martial arts experience, you'll find a supportive community dedicated to helping you grow. We would be honored to welcome you to the Centerline family and help you begin your own journey toward confidence, character, and lifelong learning.

Gracie Bullyproof at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix

Phoenix · +1 more city5-7, 8-13, 13-18

Bullyproof® is our children's Gracie Jiu-Jitsu program at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix, serving ages 5 to 13 at two locations in Phoenix. Character formation comes first. Physical skill follows from it. Character instruction is a documented curriculum, not an occasional talk. The Gracie Character Development Program runs six chapters across twelve months: Responsibility, Health, Respect, Citizenship, Manners, and Caring. A portion of every class is devoted to the current trait, focused on specific things a child can practice at home. Conduct is tracked through a point system, and children who earn enough points qualify for Gracie Game Day. Attendance is earned, not given. Our role is to reinforce what you are already teaching under your authority, not to substitute for it. We teach children to avoid a fight at all costs. Verbal de-escalation comes first, and we teach no striking of any kind. No punching, no kicking. If a child is physically attacked, they learn leverage-based control that keeps both children safe until an adult intervenes, and they learn precisely when a physical response is and is not warranted. Classes are age-grouped and taught by certified instructors following a sequenced, level-based curriculum with defined skill benchmarks and formal evaluations. Little Champs, ages 5 to 7, build coordination, listening, and confidence through structured play. Junior Grapplers, ages 8 to 13, develop technique, responsibility, communication, and leadership. Uniforms are required. Parents are welcome to observe every class. We are a registered ClassWallet vendor. ESA families can pay tuition directly through ClassWallet by searching for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix. We also provide itemized invoices with student name, dates of service, program, and instructional detail for your records. Come in and join us for a free 10-day trial! FAQ - Does the curriculum contain a religious or spiritual content? Our curriculum contains no religious or spiritual content. There is no meditation, no chanting, and no Eastern spiritual instruction. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is taught here as a physical, mental, emotional, and character discipline.

Messages from Christ

AZK-12

At Messages from Christ, our mission is to help children and teens build a genuine, lasting relationship with Jesus through hands-on Bible learning that is engaging, meaningful, and fun. We believe God's Word comes alive when children experience it! Every activity is intentionally designed to encourage curiosity, strengthen faith, and create opportunities for families to grow closer to Christ together. Each month, families receive a carefully curated Bible-based subscription (box/packet) that centers around a specific Scripture story or biblical theme. Every box (for ages 3-12) includes interactive Bible study materials, creative crafts, sensory kits, educational activities, journals, games, and high-quality keepsakes that reinforce the month's lesson. We want these lessons to feel high-quality, personal, and real; rather than simply completing worksheets, children create, explore, reflect, memorize Scripture, and apply biblical truths to their everyday lives. Parents appreciate that everything arrives ready to use, making it easy to incorporate meaningful Bible study into busy schedules. Messages from Christ offers programs for multiple age groups, starting with our subscription boxes. Little Disciple Boxes introduce younger children to foundational Bible stories through age-appropriate crafts, sensory activities, toys, and simple lessons. Faith Builder Boxes provide elementary-aged children with deeper Scripture study, creative projects, educational materials, and activities that encourage critical thinking and personal faith. Warriors of Truth Packets are designed for teens. These beautifully designed, quality-crafted packets guide students through an ongoing Bible study journey with monthly study packets, journals, memory verses, challenges, quality books/journals/etc. and a personalized Field Guide they build throughout the year. We proudly serve homeschooling families, ESA families, Christian families, churches, grandparents, and anyone looking for a meaningful way to help children grow in their faith. Our materials are designed and put together in our at-home-homeschool-office and perfectly complement home education while also providing a valuable resource for family devotions, Sunday school enrichment, and independent Bible study. What makes Messages from Christ different is our commitment to creating a real/hands-on/quality experience—not just a box of activities. We use real photographs of our actual products, focus on quality educational materials, and continually develop new resources that inspire children to love God's Word. Our goal is to create moments that families will remember long after the crafts are finished, helping children build a strong biblical foundation that lasts a lifetime.

Abide Physical Therapy

At Abide Physical Therapy, our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care that restores movement, reduces pain, and empowers every patient with the confidence that their body has the ability to heal and thrive. We are committed to placing patients first, pursuing clinical excellence, leading with integrity, and serving every individual with hope and compassion throughout their healing journey. Abide Physical Therapy was built on the belief that healthcare should provide more than symptom relief—it should educate, encourage, and empower. As a follower of Jesus Christ, Dr. Michelle established Abide with a desire to bring truth, hope, and healing into the lives of others through exceptional physical therapy care. Abide is proud to partner with Arizona's **Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) Program** to provide specialized physical therapy services for children, adolescents, and young adults. Our practice is uniquely different from traditional physical therapy because we emphasize advanced **hands-on manual therapy** combined with individualized exercise, movement training, and patient education. Every treatment session is one-on-one, allowing our clinicians to identify the root cause of movement challenges and develop personalized treatment plans that help patients recover more efficiently. We work closely with families to improve strength and coordination, motor skill development, balance, functional mobility, sensory and autonomic regulation, confidence, and independence. Whether treating orthopedic conditions, developmental delays, neurological disorders, hypermobility, or other physical disabilities, our goal is to help every individual participate more fully at home, in school, and within their community. Education is central to everything we do. Families often tell us they appreciate understanding *why* their child is experiencing certain symptoms and *how* treatment will help. By explaining what is happening within the body, we help reduce fear, build confidence, and empower families to become active partners in the healing process. At Abide, we believe exceptional care combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion. From early morning through evening appointments, our clinicians are dedicated to providing individualized care that gives every patient hope, restores confidence in movement, and reminds them that healing is possible. Our greatest privilege is walking alongside families as they pursue their loved one's fullest potential. We are honored to serve Arizona's ESA community and remain committed to providing specialized, hands-on care that helps every patient move better, feel better, and thrive.

ARIZONA VISION THERAPY CENTER

Arizona Vision Therapy Center is Southern Arizona’s premier destination for developmental and neuro-optometric care, providing life-changing vision rehabilitation and holistic visual solutions since 2009. Located in Tucson, our practice specializes in identifying and treating functional vision problems that are often overlooked during traditional eye exams, helping both children and adults achieve greater success at school, work, sports, and everyday life. Led by internationally recognized developmental optometrist Dr. Amy Thomas, FCOVD, our experienced team takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to care. We understand that vision is far more than simply seeing 20/20—it is how the brain processes, interprets, and responds to visual information. By evaluating the entire visual system, we uncover the root causes of symptoms such as headaches, eye strain, reading difficulties, attention challenges, dizziness, double vision, poor coordination, and visual discomfort that frequently go undiagnosed. Arizona Vision Therapy Center offers a wide range of specialized services including Optometric Vision Therapy, Vision Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Lenses, Syntonic Phototherapy, the Sensory Learning Program (SLP), Neuro Feedback (NFB), and Structural Energetic Therapy (SET). These evidence-informed, non-invasive programs are individually tailored to each patient’s unique needs and are designed to improve visual efficiency, neurological function, balance, learning, comfort, and overall quality of life. Our patients include children struggling with reading and learning, individuals with ADHD or developmental challenges, adults experiencing persistent visual discomfort, athletes seeking enhanced visual performance, and patients recovering from concussion, stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions. Through personalized treatment plans and compassionate care, we help patients build stronger visual skills while increasing confidence and independence. What truly sets Arizona Vision Therapy Center apart is our commitment to treating the whole person rather than simply managing symptoms. Every evaluation is thorough, every treatment plan is customized, and every patient receives individualized attention from a team passionate about helping people reach their fullest potential. Our greatest reward is seeing lives transformed as patients discover they can read with ease, perform confidently, move comfortably, and experience the world in ways they never thought possible. Whether you’re searching for answers after years of frustration or looking for advanced vision rehabilitation services unavailable through traditional eye care, Arizona Vision Therapy Center is dedicated to helping you think better, move better, and see better through innovative, compassionate, and comprehensive vision care.

Automotive Learning Lab

Automotive Learning Lab provides hands-on automotive education designed to give students and families practical skills, confidence, and a better understanding of the vehicles they rely on every day. Our mission is to make automotive education approachable and accessible while teaching skills that encourage responsibility, independence, problem-solving, and good stewardship. Whether a student is interested in a future automotive career or simply wants to know how to safely care for a vehicle, we believe these are valuable skills that can serve them for a lifetime. Our classes are built around hands-on learning rather than lectures. Participants work with real vehicles, automotive components, tools, and training equipment while learning topics such as engine fundamentals, vehicle electrical systems, brakes, cooling systems, oil changes, roadside safety, under-car inspections, and general vehicle maintenance. A typical week may include private one-on-one lessons, small-group instruction, homeschool programs, or workshops hosted in partnership with schools and community organizations. We serve homeschool and ESA families, teens exploring skilled trades and automotive careers, adults wanting to become more confident vehicle owners, and younger students who simply love cars and learning how things work. Private lessons can be customized around the student's age, experience, interests, and goals, allowing families to choose an educational experience that works for their individual learner. What makes Automotive Learning Lab distinct is our emphasis on real-world experience. Students don't just learn what a brake rotor, multimeter, or engine component is, they have the opportunity to work with the equipment, ask questions, practice skills, and understand why those skills matter. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where curiosity is encouraged, safety comes first, and students leave each class with knowledge and confidence they can carry into everyday life.

Charchelly’s Culinary Academy

Charchelly’s Culinary Academy At Charchelly’s Culinary Academy, we believe the kitchen is where confidence, creativity, and life skills are built. Our mission is to reconnect children, teens, and families with the heart of the home by teaching real cooking—not just recipes, but the knowledge and techniques that create capable, confident home cooks for life. In a world filled with convenience foods and fast-paced schedules, we are committed to preserving the art of scratch cooking while making learning fun, engaging, and accessible for every student. Founded by Chef Charles, a culinary professional with over 20 years of industry experience, and Chef Michelle, a passionate recipe developer and educator, our academy blends professional culinary training with a warm, family-centered environment. Together, we teach students that cooking is more than preparing a meal—it’s a lifelong skill that builds independence, teamwork, problem-solving, math, science, cultural appreciation, and self-confidence. Our programs serve children, teens, homeschool families, and adults throughout Arizona. We offer weekly culinary classes, homeschool enrichment, birthday parties, private lessons, family cooking experiences, seasonal camps, workshops, and community events. Classes are intentionally kept small so every student receives individualized instruction, hands-on practice, and meaningful mentorship. A typical class begins with kitchen safety, sanitation, and an introduction to the day’s culinary skill. Students then practice professional techniques such as knife skills, measuring, food preparation, seasoning, cooking methods, baking fundamentals, and plating. Every student prepares food from scratch using fresh ingredients while learning the “why” behind each technique. Classes conclude with tasting, reflection, cleanup, and recipe discussions so students leave with both knowledge and confidence they can immediately use at home. Our curriculum goes far beyond simply following recipes. Students develop real-world culinary skills including: * Knife safety and proper cutting techniques * Kitchen organization and food safety * Baking and pastry fundamentals * International and cultural cuisine * Scratch cooking and meal preparation * Sauce making and seasoning * Budget-friendly meal planning * Nutrition and healthy cooking habits * Teamwork, communication, and leadership * Creativity and recipe development What truly makes Charchelly’s Culinary Academy different is our focus on building life skills through culinary education. Every lesson is designed to help students become more independent, confident, and capable both inside and outside the kitchen. We create an encouraging environment where mistakes become learning opportunities, curiosity is celebrated, and every student is empowered to succeed regardless of previous cooking experience. Whether a child dreams of becoming a chef, wants to help prepare family meals, needs practical life skills before adulthood, or simply enjoys creating something delicious, our academy provides a welcoming space where every student can grow. We aren’t just teaching people how to cook—we’re helping build confidence, strengthen families, preserve culinary traditions, and inspire the next generation to create meaningful memories around the table.

College Career Compass™

College Career Compass™ is an online college and career readiness program designed to help middle and high school students build clarity, confidence, and direction for life after high school. Through guided self-discovery, career exploration, pathway planning, and portfolio development, students learn how to better understand themselves, explore future possibilities, and create a practical plan for what comes next. The mission of College Career Compass™ is to help students move beyond pressure, guesswork, and last-minute planning. Many students are asked to think about college, careers, majors, scholarships, and future plans before they have had time to build real direction. College Career Compass™ gives students a structured process for exploring who they are, what options are available, and what next steps may be worth taking. A typical week may include watching a short online lesson, completing guided workbook activities, reflecting on strengths, interests, values, or future goals, researching a career or pathway, comparing options, and adding evidence to a personal direction portfolio. Because the program is self-paced, families can move through the lessons in a way that fits their schedule while still giving students structure and accountability. What makes College Career Compass™ distinct is that students are not simply completing worksheets or collecting career information. They are building a personalized direction portfolio that can support parent conversations, high school planning, college preparation, career exploration, scholarship awareness, resume-building, and next-step decision-making. The goal is simple: students do not need to have life figured out, but they do need direction.

Connecting Families MHS, PLLC

The Studio is a creative, community-centered space where families can create, connect, and belong. Our mission is to reduce loneliness, strengthen relationships, and support emotional well-being through creativity, meaningful connection, and shared experiences. We believe that art and creativity are not simply extracurricular activities—they are powerful tools for self-expression, confidence, emotional regulation, brain health, and connection with others. Our goal is to create a place where people of all ages can discover their strengths, develop new skills, build friendships, and feel genuinely known and welcomed. A typical week at The Studio brings together children, teens, young adults, parents, and adults through a variety of creative and enrichment experiences. Classes may include drawing, painting, expressive and mixed-media art, sewing, crochet, computer graphics, LEGO workshops, emotional intelligence, and specialized programs designed to support neurodivergent individuals. We also offer opportunities for families and community members to participate in workshops, gatherings, social events, and other experiences that encourage connection beyond the classroom. Our programming continues to grow based on the needs and interests of the families we serve, with an emphasis on creating experiences that are both enjoyable and meaningful. We serve families who are looking for more than a traditional activity or class. Some are looking for a creative outlet; others are seeking opportunities for their children to build confidence, practice social and emotional skills, or find a community where they feel accepted. We welcome families with diverse interests, abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds, including neurodivergent children and adults. Because The Studio is connected to Connecting Families Mental Health Services, we are uniquely positioned to bring together creativity, mental health, family support, and community in a way that is rarely found in one place. What makes The Studio distinct is our belief that the experience matters just as much as the finished product. We are intentionally building a community ecosystem where art, education, mental health, and relationships can work together. A child might come to learn to paint and leave with a new coping skill. A teenager might discover a creative talent while finding a place where they feel understood. A parent might find not only an activity for their family, but also a community of people who understand their journey. We want every person who walks through our doors to experience the same three things: create. connect. belong.

Our mission is to help students develop a lifelong love of music while building confidence, discipline, creativity, and practical musical skills in a supportive, professional environment. What makes Desert Music Studio different is the combination of individualized instruction, professional teachers, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We welcome students who are completely new to music as well as students who already have years of experience. Our goal isn't to force every student into the same curriculum or pace. Instead, we meet students where they are and help them build skills and confidence step by step. We also value the role parents play in a student's musical education and strive to make communication and expectations clear throughout the learning process. We proudly serve homeschool families throughout Mesa, East Mesa, Gilbert, and surrounding communities. ESA funds are accepted through ClassWallet, making private music education an option for eligible families using Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account funds. Whether your child has always wanted to learn piano, is discovering a love of guitar, wants to develop their voice, or is ready to explore an orchestral instrument, Desert Music Studio provides a structured yet personal environment where they can grow as musicians.

Flute Lessons with Dr. Stone

My journey began when I was a 12-year old homeschooled girl, shy and stepping far out of my comfort zone to join a small church orchestra for a couple of rehearsals and a concert. I brought my recorder (spottily learned from a Teach Yourself Recorder book) and discovered that I knew far less than I had thought. A kind, skilled flutist sitting beside me took me under her wing and mentored me through the whole experience. I loved every bit of it! The orchestra swelled all around me like a stereo, and though I didn't have the confidence to play more than a few notes in one piece on the whole program, I knew that I wanted to learn to play the flute like the wonderful flutist who had guided me during that incredible weekend. I began taking lessons and becoming increasingly attached to the instrument, and before I knew it, I was auditioning for the music program at a prestigious university. I went all the way through college, receiving my Bachelor's, Master's, and finally Doctorate degrees, all in flute performance! My homeschool education prepared me in the very best way for my college studies and provided me with a strong work ethic, determination, and creativity. Now, my mission is to share the musical knowledge I've accumulated over the past 15+ years with as many homeschooled students as possible! I offer dedicated weekly online lessons to students from age 6 and upward, personalized to the individual student's needs and goals. Total beginners all the way through advanced musicians are welcome in my studio! Lessons are held via Zoom (using the Original Sound for Musicians feature).

Keene's ATA Martial Arts

Keene's ATA Martial Arts is more than a martial arts school—it's a community dedicated to helping children, teens, and adults develop the confidence, discipline, and life skills needed to succeed both on and off the mat. Senior Master and Mrs. Keene have served the Arrowhead community through the proven Songahm Taekwondo curriculum teaching students to build practical self-defense skills while strengthening their character, leadership. What truly sets Keene's ATA Martial Arts apart is its commitment to personal development. Every class is designed to teach more than kicks and punches, incorporating lessons in respect, perseverance, self-control, goal setting, and confidence that students can apply in their everyday lives. The instructors are professionally certified, background-checked, and passionate about helping every student reach their full potential, regardless of age, experience, or fitness level. Unlike many martial arts schools that focus primarily on competition or physical techniques, Keene's ATA Martial Arts emphasizes creating confident leaders, stronger families, and healthier individuals. With structured age-specific programs, a welcoming community, a clean and modern training facility, and a curriculum backed by one of the world's largest martial arts organizations, students receive expert instruction in an environment where they are encouraged to grow beyond what they believe they are capable of doing. While the process may become uncomfortable the higher belt rank you become, students gain true confidence in their ability and the processes pushes them what they believe they are capable of achieving. After having taught Taekwondo for nearly 30 years it has become our legacy of "Training Students Through Taekwondo Today to Create Leaders for Tomorrow."

Kidtastics Swim Lessons

At Kidtastics, our mission is to help children become safe, confident, and capable swimmers while developing life skills that extend far beyond the pool. We believe learning to swim should be positive, encouraging, and personalized—not intimidating. Through patient instruction, age-appropriate activities, and consistent practice, our instructors help children build water-safety awareness, independence, self-discipline, resilience, and confidence. Whether a child is entering the water for the first time or preparing for a competitive swim team, we meet them at their current ability level and help them progress at a pace that supports lasting success. A typical week at Kidtastics is designed around the needs of busy families. We offer private, semi-private, and group lessons for children from infancy through age 12, with flexible scheduling throughout the week. Families can choose convenient mobile lessons in their own pool or instruction at one of our program locations throughout the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas. We also offer focused Swim Semesters, which provide lessons Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks. This consistent format allows children to practice frequently, develop trust with the same instructor, reinforce skills while they are still fresh, and build momentum without long gaps between lessons. More advanced swimmers can participate in stroke-development and swim-team-preparation programs. We serve families with a wide variety of goals and experiences. Some parents are looking for their baby or toddler’s first introduction to the water. Others have a child who is nervous, hesitant to put their face underwater, or still developing essential safety skills. We also work with confident recreational swimmers who want to strengthen their technique and children preparing to join a swim team. Our supportive instructors take time to understand what motivates each child, using games, songs, swimming props, encouragement, and carefully structured challenges to make lessons both productive and enjoyable. What makes Kidtastics distinct is our combination of convenience, personalized teaching, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to water safety. Instead of asking every child to fit into the same lesson plan, we tailor instruction to the child’s age, personality, comfort level, and goals. Our team brings expert instruction directly to families while maintaining a nurturing, child-centered environment. In addition to swim lessons, Kidtastics offers professional lifeguard services and engaging swim-party experiences, helping families enjoy the water with greater confidence and peace of mind. After more than 16 years in business and over 15,000 safer swimmers, Kidtastics continues to make aquatic learning accessible, memorable, and meaningful for Arizona families.

Learn Adapt Build (The LAB)

The LAB — Learn. Adapt. Build. 6760 W Deer Valley Rd, Glendale, AZ 85310 The LAB is a youth athletic center in North Glendale. Ninja is a big part of what you will see on the floor. It is not the whole point. Better athletes is a great outcome. Better people is the goal. Every program — ninja, basketball, golf, toddler development, and the speed and agility training we are adding — is built to grow confidence, discipline, communication, resilience, and character alongside skill. Kids leave more capable in sport and more capable in life. This is not a drop-off playground or a once-a-week class that resets every Monday. The LAB is a coach-led training environment with a clear curriculum. Classes follow a consistent rhythm: Prep & Connect, Build the Base, Skill Development, Play with Purpose, then Reflect & Recognize. Coaches introduce a life skill with the day’s movement work, then close by naming the effort and the growth. Kids learn names, make eye contact, compete with grit, and hear what they did well — not just what they missed. The facility supports that model across sports, not just obstacles. The ninja and parkour floor develops grip, balance, agility, and problem-solving that transfer everywhere. Basketball training builds coordination, footwork, and teamwork. Golf develops focus, patience, and body control. A dedicated toddler program and curriculum meet the youngest athletes where they are — motor skills, listening, confidence, and first group habits — so families can start early instead of waiting until a child is “ready for sports.” Speed and agility programming is next, giving every athlete a shared engine for whatever they play. Members get structured coaching plus room to keep working. Unlimited class access and open training time mean kids get the reps that actually change them. Parents are not spectators in the hallway. The space is built so families can stay, watch, work, train, or join in. Progress is a partnership. The same center hosts camps, birthday parties, competitive pathways, and adult training. New families start with a free VIP trial day — one visit, no cost — to feel the coaching, the curriculum, and the culture before they commit. Closed-toe athletic shoes are required. Coaches supervise. The floor is clean, organized, and run with clear standards. Hours fit real family schedules: weekday afternoons and evenings, earlier on weekends. Come for the sport your child loves. Stay because they are becoming someone stronger in every room they walk into. Learn. Adapt. Build.

MindBridge Math Mastery

MindBridge Math Mastery was founded with one mission: to help every student develop the confidence, skills, and understanding needed to thrive in mathematics. While I specialize in dyscalculia and other math learning differences, I work with students across the entire learning spectrum, from those who are years behind to gifted and advanced learners seeking enrichment and greater academic challenge. I am a Certified Teacher with a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction specializing in Mathematics Education, a Trained Educational Clinician, and have over a decade of classroom teaching experience. I have completed extensive specialized training in dyscalculia intervention, multisensory mathematics instruction, executive functioning, Reading Simplified, and NILD Educational Therapy. This unique combination of training allows me to look beyond incorrect answers to identify why a student is struggling and develop individualized interventions that address the root of the problem. Every session is completely individualized to meet the student's unique learning profile. I integrate executive functioning skills, study strategies, organization, planning, working memory supports, and metacognitive techniques directly into math instruction, creating a more holistic approach to remediation. My goal is not simply to teach students how to solve today's problems, but to equip them with lifelong learning strategies that increase independence, confidence, and success both inside and outside the classroom. I work with students with dyscalculia, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, math anxiety, and other learning differences, while also providing enrichment for gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) learners who need instruction that matches their potential. Whether a student is building foundational number sense, preparing for Algebra, tackling advanced mathematics, or learning as an adult, every lesson is designed around that individual's strengths, needs, and goals. Because all services are provided virtually, I am able to serve families throughout Arizona using ESA funds, as well as students across the United States. Families appreciate the highly personalized instruction, consistent communication, and compassionate environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and experience genuine success. As a Christian-owned business, I strive to serve every family with integrity, compassion, patience, and excellence. Social Emotional Learning and Executive Functioning Classes and Workbooks

At Kelly Garashay Life Coaching, we help teens build the executive functioning, self-regulation, and real-world readiness skills that traditional academics don't teach — the kind that determine whether a young person can actually run their own life once they leave home. Our flagship program, Real World Workshop, meets weekly and walks teens through practical, hands-on topics like money management, food and cooking basics, and social navigation — each class taught first, then reinforced with a take-home cheat sheet so students leave with something they'll actually use again. We serve homeschool families in the Scottsdale and Prescott, Arizona area who want more for their teens than what's covered in a curriculum — parents who see the gap between "knows algebra" and "can function as an adult" and want a structured, judgment-free space to close it. Many of our families use ESA/ClassWallet funds, and we're an approved Arizona ESA vendor, so this fits easily into an existing homeschool budget. What makes us different is the "teach first, build second" approach: every class is shaped by what actually happens in the room with real teens, not a workbook written in isolation. That means the materials your student takes home are tested, not theoretical. Our tagline says it best: this is for families who can handle real life — and want their teens ready for it too.

Many Arizona enrichment providers are explicitly Christian — church-based drama, worship-music programs, faith-integrated STEM, and Christian art studios. Others are secular but family-friendly. Program listings note faith alignment where the provider has confirmed it; ask directly about worldview when it matters to your family.

How to pick the right enrichment program

Start with your child's interests, not the calendar. Two strong programs a week almost always beats five scattered activities. Ask about class size, teacher qualifications, ESA/ClassWallet status, drop-off vs. parent-required, and how progress or performance is celebrated. A short trial class before committing to a semester is normal and encouraged.

Frequently asked questions

Does Arizona ESA cover enrichment classes?
Yes. Arizona ESA reimburses many enrichment categories — art, music, STEM, drama, nature, and organized sports — when the provider or class is ESA-eligible. Payment usually runs through ClassWallet. See our enrichment guide for what typically qualifies.
What counts as Christian enrichment?
Enrichment programs explicitly rooted in a Christian worldview — church-based drama, worship-music programs, faith-integrated STEM or nature study, and Christian art studios. Many secular Arizona programs are also welcoming to Christian families; ask about worldview directly if it matters to you.
How much do enrichment programs cost in Arizona?
Group enrichment classes typically run $80–$250 per month per class, with private lessons (music, art, tutoring) at $30–$80 per session. Multi-day camps and semester programs vary widely. Most costs are ESA-eligible.
How many enrichment activities should a homeschooler do?
Most homeschool families do best with one or two strong recurring programs plus occasional camps or field trips. Over-scheduling is the most common mistake — protect margin for the core academic work.

Know the difference

Homeschooling and ESA-funded education are not the same thing

Under Arizona law these are two distinct pathways with different rules. We label every listing with the pathway it primarily serves so you know what you're signing up for.

Homeschooling (ARS §15-802)

Parent files an Affidavit of Intent. No public funds. Parent picks any curriculum and keeps full control. Co-ops, tutors, and enrichment are paid out of pocket.

ESA-funded education

Family signs the ESA contract and the affidavit is withdrawn. Quarterly funds flow through ClassWallet, expenses must fit ADE's allowable list, and receipts are required. Legally not homeschooling.
